True Global Innovation Showcase Hybrid Event

The project

We worked with True Global on their annual Innovation Showcase which highlights a small selection of the most exciting technology and innovations of the past 12 months. This year the focus was on ESG and impact innovations with 11 presentations from some exciting startups in this space followed by a Q&A.

This year, we live streamed the event content to the Slido event platform for virtual attendees, Q&A, polls and surveys. True also had remote speakers who presented via Zoom and we added branded graphics in vMix to elevate the production of the pitch event. Additionally, our videographers captured interviews and footage of the live production for a highlights video of the event.

The project involved live streaming, AV, event filming and end-to-end project management leading up to and on the day.

Live streaming & AV

Ahead of the event, we set up meetings with the client to discuss the event requirements and define the scope of the project, which helped us plan the logistics, equipment and set-up. We ran technical checks including internet testing, and tech checks with remote contributors to ensure everything was optimised for the live broadcast. Our live streaming team included a live streaming engineer, audio technician, video technician, 2 camera operators, a producer and a virtual producer for the remote speakers.

We live streamed to Slido, vision mixing from multiple live camera feeds to create a broadcast-quality stream and viewing experience.

Digital event branding

True requested a suite of digital assets to be created using their brand guidelines for a professional presentation. This included lower thirds, holding cards and a branded picture-in-picture to showcase all presentations in a consistent way.

Event filming

True wanted to capture the best bits of the event in a 60-second highlights video, which you can watch above. During pre-production, we discussed their objectives for the video, what and who they wanted to capture and their style references and music wishes. We delivered the broadcast recording the next day and a first draft of the highlights video in 10 working
