The project: event production services

To support the launch of Robinhood’s new desktop trading platform, Legend, we partnered with their team to deliver a high-impact, experiential activation in the heart of London. Together, we designed and built a fully branded pop-up trading booth inside Waterloo Station, featuring live traders, custom graphics, and a large LED display promoting the product.

Our role included full event production, professional photography, and filming services—capturing the experiential event for promotional content to use across Robinhood’s digital platforms.

Our event production process

Pre-Production

Our pre-production phase focused on both creative ideation and technical planning. A key challenge was incorporating live traders inside the booth throughout the day—a feature that added energy and authenticity but required careful consideration. We worked with Robinhood to develop technical solutions that would keep the booth functional and comfortable, while also showcasing the traders as a central part of the experience.

Brand identity was at the core of the project. From early concept sketches to final designs, we ensured the booth was clearly branded, featuring custom graphics and window vinyls that clearly communicated the brand and new product launch.

The Build

To execute the physical build, we partnered with We Make Stuff Happen, ensuring a smooth process from blueprint to installation. Their team brought our collaborative designs to life with precision and speed, working on-site with our project managers to assemble the booth within Waterloo Station.

The structure was installed for a single day and designed not only to capture brand awareness, but also to support live, functional trading activity—engaging daily commuters at one of London’s busiest transport hubs.

To maximise visibility, we integrated an LED screen into the booth’s design, running an advert for Robinhood’s new trading platform. This display helped draw passers-by in and added a digital layer to the experience. We also worked in collaboration with the station to take over Waterloo’s main concourse LED wall for branded assets, ensuring the activation had a 360° visual presence across the space.

Photography & Videography

No activation is complete without a strong digital follow-up. Our team provided full photography and videography coverage of the launch, capturing not just the booth but the atmosphere, footfall, and interactions of passers by.

This content serves a vital role in extending the impact of a physical brand activation to a wider online audience. From social media teasers to internal comms and paid campaigns, high-quality visuals help brands like Robinhood amplify engagement far beyond the event space. It also builds a lasting asset library that can be reused to showcase innovation, thought leadership, and campaign success.

The result

The Robinhood Legend activation delivered both immediate impact and long-term brand value. The booth’s presence and live trading experience sparked curiosity and conversation among thousands of commuters, creating a memorable moment in a high-traffic location.

Beyond the event itself, the visual assets we captured have extended the campaign’s reach across digital platforms—enabling Robinhood to share the activation with audiences beyond Waterloo. The combination of physical engagement and online content made this a standout launch, setting a strong precedent for future experiential marketing initiatives for the brand.
