Event Production for The FT Live Studio in Davos

We worked with Robinhood to produce an exclusive customer event to launch their stock trading and investment app in the UK. The event was held over two floors of Fare bar and restaurant in London, and featured key discussions, live music, engagement with the leadership team at Robinhood, panel discussions and a live product demo. For the event, we created custom branding for the two floors, designed and built a stage, took event photography, and provided AV support.
Taking the brief, our design team provided mock ups to show each of the branded elements in situ across the two floors of the venue. This included branded flagpoles at the entrance to the venue, vinyl logos in the alcoves of the bar, branded tote bags for the guests, a large foamex logo to decorate the stairway between the floors, branded cushions, branded framed agendas on the tables, and an LED logo cube. We also designed, built, and dressed a custom stage in the centre of the room for a panel discussion.
One room was dedicated to networking and celebrating the launch. In addition to the branded elements, we provided the audio equipment for a DJ to create a party atmosphere, and our Sound Technician set up and tested the speaker system. For the panel discussion, our Live Stream Engineer utilised the in-house projector to live broadcast the CEO of Robinhood, as well as a live demonstration of the app onto the projector screen. Our Sound Technician set up all of the panellists with microphones that were connected to the speaker system for sound amplification around the room. We used uplighters and brand colour washes for effective lighting across the two floors.
Our photographer captured the highlights of the event with a range of shots requested by the client, including candid shots of the guests, the atmosphere, the musician, panel discussion and Q&A, close-up speaker shots, and the virtual dial-in of the CEO. These were edited and delivered to the client within 48 hours post-event.
Our team on the day included a project manager, an account manager, AV technicians, and members of our design team, who set up the project, with our live stream engineer and sound technicians taking care of the live production throughout the evening.
